Background: Section 1. The amount of water that Tybee Island is permitted to withdraw from the Floridan Aquifer has recently
been reduced by 44,000 per day, placing our island at the same levels of withdrawal that were permitted in 2004. We can expect
our water to continue to become increasingly expensive in the future. It is critical that Tybee residents and our visitors do all we can
to help conserve this vital resource. Beginning in February, Tybee Neighbors will be featuring ideas, practices and devices to help
in that effort. With this survey, we are asking that you share your water-saving ideas or resources in the comments area below, and
by answering the questions that follow.
Together we can make a difference.
Please check the appropriate box to answer these questions.
