Progress on Tybee's New Master Plan
Since September 2006 Tybee Neighbors has been providing
opportunities to learn more about the master planning process and the
components that will be part of the new plan.
During the months ahead we will post regularly updated information on
the plan in order to maximize the participation of property owners and
registered voters in the final stages of the planning process.
DCA has reviewed and approved the Data Assessment and Community
Assessment documents that were researched and prepared by Tybee's
consultants, Courtney Powers and Edward DiTommasso, with the help of
the Tybee Island Project Team.
The current stage of the process involves getting final DCA approval and
subsequent approval by the Tybee Island City Council.
